Since January of 2003, Skylands CLEAN has documented a variety of problems at the construction sites of West Brook Hills I and West Brook Hills II off of Burnt Meadow Road. These problems include storm water runoff fouling the West Brook (which runs into the Wanaque Reservoir just below) caused by poor stormwater management practices, tree farming activity that disturbed sensitive wetlands areas, and the illegal construction of Sonoma Court, one of the major roads into West Brook Hills II, which as of September 1, 2003, has not been approved by the Ringwood Planning Board.
