Developer Jack Levkovitz pulled his application for his 39-home development called West Brook Hills 2 from the agenda of the upcoming May 12th Ringwood Planning Board meeting today. The developer failed to notify the State Planning Commission of his application for subdivision, and therefore must re-notify abutting land owners and the public, and start the application process all over again. The State Planning Commission requires that any development in excess of 150 acres, or more than 500 dwelling units submit a copy of their plans to the commission. Mr. Levkovitz' proposed subdivision, at 164 acres, exceeds the 150 acre limit.
The next possible date for the developer to return to the planning board to begin the hearing process if Monday, June 9th. Check back to this site for further updates and developments on this development.
