Gene Rosenfield loved this region's mountains, rivers, streams and lakes and was stalwart in his efforts to protect them. A world traveler, he considered the NJ Highlands one of the most beautiful places on earth. He was an active, dedicated supporter of Skylands CLEAN.

The winners for 2007 were Rachel Ricciardi of West Milford HS and Cody Anderson of Lakeland Regional High School. Congratulations, Rachel and Cody. Both winners received a $500 scholarship. Check with your High School Guidance office for information on this year's award.
